So happy I got to help design for Lacy and Brice’s Nautical wedding a few weeks ago.
Lacy is a friend of mine since high school, and recently I got to help her create some designs for her wedding. (Isn’t it great to have friends for so long!) We made invitations, table numbers, place cards, and a poster to sign. I also made a photo album to match as a wedding gift.
I designed the invitation in Adobe Suite and Lacy had them printed locally. For the table numbers and place cards, we printed it all on a home printer and cut them to size. To create the AWESOME gold texture, we painted gold / champagne gold onto cream paper. Lacy recruited her step-dad to make the rope knot balls that served as the base of the table number (or table icon in this case).
At the reception guest were asked to sign a poster, instead of the traditional guest book. The beautiful framed anchor was made from a flea market gold frame and white matte board cut to size and stapled into the frame. I then created a silhouette printer file from the anchor on the invitations, cut it from gold paper and mounted it to the matte board. It was a huge success!
I couldn’t be happier for Lacy, and so glad I got to help make her wedding day exactly how she wanted
