Easy Chocolate-dipped Pretzels are one of my favorite party go-to snacks.
It was my 30th Birthday last week, and we had a big party at our house. I wanted to have some fun homemade stuff out, but I was running low on time. These chocolate dipped pretzels, rolled in different confections were the perfect solution. They only took 20 minutes to make and were a hit with the whole crowd. For my pretzels I choice to dip soem in white chocolate and roll those in sprinkles and then dip some in milk chocolate and roll those in crushed almonds.
- Pretzel Sticks
- Confections (I used colored sprinkles and almonds)
- Wax Paper
First, melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Then you’ll dip the pretzel in the chocolate. Use a spoon or a knife to smear the chocolate onto the pretzel. Dipping it will not get enough chocolate on the pretzel if you are using a small pan. At least for my taste.
Once the top 2/3rds of the pretzel are covered in chocolate, roll it in your choice of confection. You might also want to press more into the chocolate with your fingers so it’s really covered.
Place the pretzels on wax paper or parchment paper until the chocolate cools and sets. (an hour)
They are so easy! The clean-up might be the hardest part.
